Located in Kyoto, Japan, 9 hours is a new capsule hotel managed by Tokyo-based Cubic Inc., and designed in a collaboration with designer Fumie Shibata of Design Studio S.

Although similar hotels have been around for years in Asia, 9 hours has pushes the envelope as a beautifully designed capsule hotel. 9 hours allows you nine hours from check in to check out to check in, shower, sleep, and check out.

9 hours offers capsule rooms, instead of hotel rooms, and shared bathrooms. Guests are separated by gender. Perfect for travelers or hard working business people. Hopefully 9 hours encourages airports and large cities around the world to do the same.
